| I used a Sony MiniDisc player/recorder and a microphone to record this sound. The microphone was placed about 3 inches to the side of the exhaust tip, and about 3 inches before the opening. You will need a subwoofer to hear the exhaust to its full extent: I turned off my sub and played this recording, and it didn't sound like anything. I'm sorry to say that this recording makes my exhaust sound better than it does in reality. Overall, I am satisfied with its sound, but it could be a little louder. It does have a nice drone to it though; especially atmid RPMs. |
